Brian K. Loffman

Brian Loffman has over fourteen years of experience in the Environmental and Water Resources industries. Brian’s experience includes a wide range of projects involving hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, modeling, and drainage studies.

As a project manager, Brian has prepared Technical Drainage Studies and Site Suitability Assessments for residential and commercial projects, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans for commercial development projects, and numerous Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. As an Environmental Scientist, he has assisted in the design and placement of groundwater pump and treat wells for a contaminated aquifer, performed characterization studies for contaminant releases at sites in Arizona, Nevada, and Texas, and conducted a pilot test for a proposed groundwater remediation system using step drawdown and constant head test standard methodology.

His work has also included design and installation of groundwater and soil remediation systems including pump-and-treat, air sparging, soil vapor extraction, bioventing, high vacuum dual phase extraction, and in-situ circulation cell. Brian also has extensive experience in aquifer testing and the preparation of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits and Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs).

Brian’s professional affiliations include memberships with the Association of State Floodplain Mangers (ASFPM), Floodplain Management Association (FMA), Arizona Floodplain Management Association (AZFMA), and the National Ground Water Association (NGWA).
