Eileen Christensen is a Nevada Certified Environmental Manager (CEM) and Geologist with more than 20 years of professional environmental consulting experience, including more than 15 years working in Nevada on both Federal and State Brownfield grant programs for communities throughout the State. Eileen formed BEC Environmental, Inc. (BEC) in 2002, in order to service Brownfield projects through their entire life cycle; from site identification, prioritization, and assessment through redevelopment, with emphasis on successful site redevelopment through community outreach, stakeholder communication, reuse planning, project funding identification, and developer interactions. BEC’s service line has grown to include a wide array of key environmental resource areas such as: biological/botanical surveys and assessments, environmental-related compliance services relevant to hazardous waste management, sustainable economic development, renewable energy project development and permitting, surface and groundwater protection programs, floodplain management, and natural resource management.
BEC’s clients include local, state, and federal government agencies, private industry, and non-profit organizations. Our focus is not only serving the immediate project needs of our clients, but also committing to a long-standing relationship with clients to better understand their holistic needs, including infrastructure requirements necessary to accomplish their higher-level goals and objectives. We maintain our commitment to long term relationships and providing quality, cost-effective services, and are rewarded with exceptional loyalty from and to our clients.
