Erika Balderson

Erika Balderson has more than two years of experience in the fields of biology and ecology. Working for government agencies and private consulting firms, she has served as biologist, inspector, and researcher.

As a biologist in Las Vegas, she has surveyed for Gopherus agassizii (Mojave Desert Tortoise) and sensitive plant species for the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Erika also functions as BEC’s GIS Specialist, creating accurate and descriptive maps for many projects.

Erika has conducted air and water quality assessments in accordance with regional, county, and state regulations. She has also conducted population surveys for state and federal organizations.

Her work has also included monitoring construction site activities for compliance with Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans and the California Clean Air Act as well as monitoring and surveying activities for the US Coast Guard and National Forest Service.

Erika's responsibilities for BEC include conducting field surveys, project research, map development and providing administrative and marketing support.
