BEC Environmental, Inc. (BEC) was awarded a Federal Supply Schedule contract by the General Services Administration (GSA) in September of 2009. This contract mechanism allows any federal agency to procure the services of BEC for task orders on a restricted competitive basis. The GSA determines the price of items under schedule contracts prior to contract award, creating a pre-negotiated price list for use by any federal buyer, thus allowing agencies to award contracts without going through the competition phase of procurement.
