NEPA Analysis

Slideshow

The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) was enacted in 1969 to protect human health and the environment by requiring government agencies and private interests to evaluate potential impacts of development prior to beginning construction. BEC assists our clients with NEPA compliance and the preparation of NEPA-support documents (e.g., Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental Assessments, and Environmental Baseline Surveys) for the environmental planning, design, construction, and operation of private, State, and Federal developments and infrastructure improvements.

BEC maintains a commitment to a high level of stakeholder involvement throughout every step of the NEPA process. BEC's approach emphasizes our extensive experience coordinating with a variety of federal, state, and local agencies. Additionally, BEC draws on our familiarity with Council of Environmental Quality (CEQ) guidance and guidelines, and the NEPA-implementing regulations of many agencies, to ensure client goals are met within the federal requirements in the most thorough and efficient manner possible.
