State of Nevada Wellhead Protection Program

BEC was contracted by the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) Bureau of Water Pollution Control, to assist in the update and revision of the State Wellhead Protection Program. BEC also works with communities within Nevada to develop and update Community Source Water Protection Plans and provide technical assistance for plan development.

BEC continues to assist with the revision and update of the Nevada Integrated Source Water Protection Program Guidance Document by obtaining community feedback on the program and guidance document, and by coordinating and assisting with the development and implementation of local ordinances.
