Public Outreach

Public Outreach is a primary means of ensuring that stakeholders in particular, and the public in general, hear the complete facts concerning activities which are either planned or in process. This educational tool often means the difference between a project's success or failure.

Public outreach is frequently required to be conducted before and/or during project activities as part of a formal process (such as that required under the National Environmental Policy Act). Additionally, an informal outreach workshop can be used to garner support for specific initiatives. BEC's practical, sincere approach to these activities has enabled stakeholders to make enlightened decisions regarding the subject at hand. Our reasoned approach defuses issues, and enables stakeholders to see both the pros and cons of each action from an unbiased viewpoint. It encourages setting aside distractions to enable particip0ants to understand the results of actions -- or inaction, and to arrive at agreement, if not consensus.
